Kankaku ("the App") is provided by an individual developer. This page explains how information is handled in the App.

Information Collection and Use

The App does not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name or email address.

Search input, search results, and viewed-kanji history are stored only on your device and are never sent to any server. The App has no account registration or login.

However, the App uses the following third-party services for advertising, crash reporting, and usage analytics, which may collect anonymized information such as:

• Device advertising identifier (IDFA / advertising ID)
• Device information (OS, model, etc.)
• Approximate location (for ad optimization)
• Ad impressions and clicks
• App usage (e.g. which screens are used)
• Diagnostic information when the App crashes (crash logs)

Third-party services used:

• Google AdMob (ad serving)
• Firebase Analytics (usage analytics)
• Firebase Crashlytics (crash diagnostics)

Opting Out of Data Collection

To stop advertising-related data collection, turn off ad personalization in your device settings, or uninstall the App.

Children's Policy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Security

Search history and other App data are stored only on your device and are never sent to an external server. Information collected by third-party services (AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics) is handled according to each provider's own standards.
